Description

This is another Landscape of Khorghil. The Watch of Hope is Stoneformation inmid the desert of Nyrbie. The elders told that the Goddess Sorahel came down here thousands of years ago to bring the mankind the gift of magic.

Now, nobody knows how this stoneformation with its giant sculpture on the top surroundet by green nature came arround. This magical Plants do not need any water and they are growing directly out the stone. Even unknown are the culture wich has built a city at the foot of the stone... but it is also a ruin today.

However, the watch of hope is a Oasis for traveler... a place of peace but also a plce of hidden magic and mythology

"From ice to sun" was my intention. So this is a rework of this old Illustration.

I really hope you like it! One more piece of my world... ;-)

"MBKKHNGYFCDVT BTYZBTR BTBYDRXTHYB", is what I went when I first saw this picture...

Amazing desert landscape with great color and story.

The ruins of the village are amazing and have the impact of an abandoned city.

The statue of the goddess is very lifelike and feminine. Her magic plants are beautiful.

The travelers are great, they look forlorn and weary.

Your world has an amazing storyline and the feel of its own world... unlike other landscape drawings I've seen.

The sand dunes seem to defy gravity and look like they could colappse at any moment.

Overall, amazing art,
